Based at Crooklets Beach in one of the UK's finest surf destinations, we offer one-to-one tuition, private group lessons, family surf experiences, and our hugely popular Salty Groms Holiday Surf Camp for kids aged 7–14 — all delivered with a coach-to-student ratio of 1:4 that guarantees you the attention, feedback, and progression you deserve. With world-class coaching from a professional British Surf Champion and access to two of Cornwall's best surf beaches, there has never been a better place to start — or continue — your surfing journey
Group & Family Surf Lessons
For two or more people, family groups, young children, or larger parties, our private bookings offer the flexibility to fit your surf session into your schedule, while providing a fun, learn-to-surf experience to enjoy with family and friends. We provide one instructor to every four students, making sure you'll all be catching plenty of waves and receiving the instruction you need. £50pp.
One to One Surf Lessons
Get the best coaching and a personalised experience tailored just for you. Whether you're just starting out and would like to learn on your own, or looking to improve on your current abilities, this is the option for you. Advanced video coaching is available upon request. £120pp.
Group Surf Lessons
If you're looking for a fun, sociable and cost-effective surfing experience, our Group Surf Lessons are for you. Whether you're just looking to have fun or want to improve your surfing, our ratio of one instructor to four students ensures you'll be catching plenty of waves and receiving the instruction you need. £40pp.
Salty Groms Surf Camp
If your child loves the outdoors, the ocean, and a proper adventure, the Salty Groms Holiday Surf Camp is the ultimate summer experience. Based in Bude, Cornwall — one of the UK's most iconic surf destinations — our kids' surf camp is a full day from 9am-3pm and gives children aged 7–14 the chance to learn to surf in a safe, fun, and supportive environment, guided by world-class instructors. With two surf sessions, beach games, ocean safety, and a hot lunch packed into every day, this is so much more than just a surf lesson for just £55 per day.

We took a group of 26 ten year olds to Bude on a rugby tour and MLH provided two sessions in what can only be described as frigid conditions. Pete, Cal and Tamsin were super patient and kind to all of the kids. Many of our party said they would like to go back to MLH in the summer when it might be a smidge warmer!
