The Booking Process
Booking your Surf Lessons is Easy!
- Choose the type of lesson
- Choose the number of participants & number of lessons you'd like to book
- Select the date & time for your first lesson (you'll schedule the remaining lessons after completing the booking). If the calendar is showing no availability for the day you reqiore, please just give us a call!
- Enter your details (name, email, phone)
- Proceed to our secure payment portal to pay for your booking.
You'll then receive confirmation via email, and a login to your account where you can schedule any additional lessons on this booking and book further lessons.

Where is Bude Bay Surf School?
We are located down at Crooklets Beach, Bude, EX23 8NE and this is where we provide all our surf lessons.
On the beach-side of Rosies Kitchen Cafe you will find a blue cabin and trailer. Pop in and say hello.
Do I need to pay in Advance?
Yes! This helps us so we can schedule our coaching team. We need to know that lessons are confirmed, therefore we do ask for full payment in advance, unless otherwise agreed with the BBSS team. Any problems or questions, just get in touch!
How long is a Surf Lesson?
All Surf Lessons are 2 hours long.
Are Surfboards and Wetsuits Included?
Yes, all Surfboards and Wetsuits are included for the 2 hour lesson. We also offer equipment hire for you outside of lessons.
What do I need to bring to my Lesson?
Please bring some swimwear to get changed into and a towel. Wetsuits are included for the lesson or you can bring your own wetsuit. We recommend wearing long leg wetsuits to protect your knees. We advise wearing some sunscreen as well.

That's great! Just give us a call or email, with details of your request and we will look at availability.
Will the lesson time change?
Not usually, but it can happen! Whilst we plan our lesson times in advance, based on the tides, there are things out of our control which can effect the start time (surf conditions, weather etc). If we need to change it, we will inform you ASAP (via text, email or call), and we usually make these changes the day before, once we know the surf & weather forecasts are accurate. Generally if we do need to change the time, its no more than 1 hour difference (earlier or later).
